This letter is to invite you to submit an abstract for the coming 4th Congress on Cardio-thoracic Surgery of the Belgian Association for Cardio-thoracic Surgery that wil take place on Saterday, 6 November 1999 at the Sodehotel-Woluwe, Avenue Mounier 5, B-1200 Bruxelles. Please have a look at "http://www.bacts.org/events/bacts" regularly for further update on the meeting's program.

Enclosed you will find the instructions for authors. You may copy this sheet or print it directly from our website in case you want to submit more than one abstract.

Abstracts should be sent to Prof G. Van Nooten, Chairman of the Scientific Committee BACTS, Department of Cardiac Surgery, University Hospital Gent, De Pintelaan 185, B-9000 Gent. The deadline for receipt of the abstracts is fixed on 1 August 1999.

Authors will be notified in September 1999 on the acceptance of their abstract.
